A TABLE OF THE PUBLISHED MANUSCRIPTS OF CHARLES SANDERS PEIRCE

The aim of the folowing synoptical table is to facilitate the research of the published manuscripts of Charles Sanders Peirce. Both the catalog compiled by Richard Robin and the volumes already published of the Writings of Charles Sanders Peirce give only some of the references of the many manuscripts now available in published edition. Moreover, there exist no instruments that catalog all the manuscripts now translated in Italian.

The present table is not, and could probably not be, exhaustive. The aim of the present table is more limited and it consists only in the possibility to offer a first guide after, and in conjunction with, the reading of the Robin Catalog and other resources.

The growing number of manuscripts that have been already published and translated, together with the plurality of the editions and their rising popularity, makes the task of achieving a complete and definitive list an almost impossible one. Therefore, the spirit into which this project is realized and will be developed is the spirit of the community, where the effort made by the single improves the possibility of the entire community. Every suggestion, contribution and correction will be examined and is strongly encouraged. In the future, as the project evolves, others versions of the table will be realized. The hope is to increase progressively the richnesses and the precision of the table.
